Biography

Christine (Chris) Boicken is the Budget Director for the College of Engineering and also serves as the Assistant to the Dean. She grew up in Bloomington-Normal and is an alum of Illinois State University with a degree in Communications. Prior to being hired in the College of Engineering, Chris was an Administrative Aide for Mennonite College of Nursing (2012-2016) and the Assistant to the CEO at a local financial institution (2016-2023). Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
