Biography

Dr. Chaudhary joined Illinois State University in 2025 as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas and his master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to his master’s, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India. His research focuses on emerging and future computing technologies and architectures, particularly quantum computing, high-performance reconfigurable computing, and hardware virtualization. His work involves developing novel quantum algorithms for practical applications and exploring hybrid quantum-classical computational architectures. He has also worked on wireless sensor breadcrumb networks to provide reliable connectivity in remote or infrastructure-damaged environments. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
